Quality Inn Sycamore - Dekalb

The room was brand-new and had a clean bathroom. The location was nice and unbeatable for exploring this pretty nice area, not far from Illinois and stores and restruants. Also, we were within 15-minute walk from Fellowship Baptist Church.

The staff were not very helpful, didn't expect that coming.

We didn't have breakfast ,as we slept in. When we checked out. I said we slept in. The Manger asked if he could make us some breakfast. It was noon. We thought this was so nice. But, we didn't stay.That's a great Manger to even offer that. Room and bed were very comfortable. We will stay again as a Quality Inn thanks

There was plenty of breakfast available, tasty and fresh. Swimming pool was clean and free of any debris and just the right amount of chlorine. Every where I looked it was clean even in the hallways. The staff was very friendly gave me a free newspaper.It was hot and the manager offered me a free bottle of water. The pillows were soft and there were many of them. The room had everything that I needed, even extra towels so I really didn't need to call the front desk. The sheets were nice and clean and smelled freshen. The room was big I had enough room to walk around without feeling closed in. There was also lots of storage space for my clothes in the deep pocket drawers and the closet had lots of racks to hang my clothes. I woke up every morning to a great smelling hallway. The workout room had lots of machines of which I utilized. The elevator was wide and smelled great, it could fit alot of people or anyone that had a wheelchair. The ice machine I used alot and it gave the crisps tasting ice, almost like it was filtered water. The room sink water tasted great to very crisps and the shower was just the right pressure.

Offer items for those who do not eat pork, so like beef or turkey sausage even if it is limited and it needs to be requested upon check in. I would not mind requested it but other than that I really enjoyed my stay and will come again.

Staff were friendly

I booked a non smoking room and was given a smoking room. The booking came thru as a smoking room. I will always call the property from now on. That is unacceptable. The hotel is blaming Booked.net.

The room was clean, but the shower pressure was very low.

The staff and the owner were all extremely helpful.

A Decent Stay with Some Bright Spots

I enjoyed my two-night stay. The room was tidy, and checking in was hassle-free. I loved the well-maintained pool area. For breakfast, try the fresh bagels and make sure to indulge in the delicious waffles! A satisfying experience for the price.

Couple looking for something decent

Gotta say, the bed was super comfy, perfect for two people after a long day. And the fridge? It actually worked. Had cold drinks ready when we settled in.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but it was still tolerable.

Great for a quick stopover

Clean rooms, nice amenities, like the indoor pool with a jacuzzi and a great breakfast selection, made our stay enjoyable while being conveniently located near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.
